Administration Assistant

We’re looking for a motivated Administration Assistant to support our smooth-running operations at our Norwich depot.

With no previous experience required, we’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a drive to deliver results.

What you’ll do:

  • Stay organised: Manage document scanning and filing with precision, keeping everything in order for smooth operations.

  • Keep things moving: Handle data entry, ensuring accurate records across departments.

  • Support the workshop: Create job cards and packs for the team, ensuring they have everything they need to do the job.

  • Engage with customers: Communicate with customers and suppliers by phone and email to process payments and resolve queries efficiently.

  • Manage invoices: Prepare and send out invoices, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.

  • Stay on standard: Ensure all tasks adhere to manufacturer-specific standards and procedures.

  • Adapt and learn: Take on additional administrative responsibilities, growing with the role and the company.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Willingness to learn: No prior experience? No problem. We want someone with the right attitude and eagerness to grow.

  • Communication skills: You’ll need to be clear and concise, both written and verbal.

  • Organised and detail-oriented: Keeping track of all the details is key in this role.

HGV Technician

  • Full time permanent early/late shift position
  • 31 days including Bank Holidays

Are you a Level 3 qualified technician looking for a new opportunity? Do you have previous experience of working with Commercial vehicles, ideally in a workshop environment?

Here at Norfolk Truck and Van we are looking for an experienced technician to join our depot on a full-time permanent basis working on a split shift pattern, working on a diverse range of modern vehicles from Manufacturers such as Renault, Isuzu, MAN and more.

Some of the activities that you will be involved in will include, but may not be limited to:

  • Adhere and comply to Manufacturer repair instructions
  • Follow instructions from the job card / repair order to DVSA standards
  • Accurately report and record work and tests carried out as per the manufacturers standards, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults
  • Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information
  • Maintain allocated work areas, and keep in a clean and tidy condition
  • Enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst following company polices and standard procedures

In order for you to be successful in this role, you will work well as part of a team, be a good communicator, have the ability to take on a variety of different workloads, and have a problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude.

Skills and abilities:

  • HGV Technician Level 3 qualifications or equivalent
  • Excellent diagnostic skills
  • Proven HGV experience
  • Driving licence (HGV Class 1 desirable)

Available across our Norfolk, Suffolk and London depots.
