Warranty & Admin Assistant

  • Full‑time permanent Monday–Friday position
  • 31 days’ holiday including Bank Holidays
  • £28,000 salary, depending on experience

 

Are you the sort of person who spots a missing full stop at twenty paces? Do you enjoy keeping paperwork in line and helping a busy team stay on track? If so, you could be the next Warranty & Administrative Assistant at our Norwich depot.

Here at Norfolk Truck & Van, we need someone organised, dependable and ready to dive in. You’ll handle warranty and repair‑and‑maintenance (R&M) claims across several truck and van brands, keep records flawless, and make sure suppliers, customers and the workshop are always in the loop. Full training comes as standard – what matters most is your eye for detail and can‑do attitude.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Compile and submit warranty & R&M claims for HGV and LCV manufacturers

  • Respond quickly to queried or rejected claims and chase outstanding payments

  • Verify manufacturer payments and flag discrepancies

  • Keep electronic and paper records up to date; run weekly/monthly reports

  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and our workshop to resolve admin queries

  • Support the Operations Manager with day‑to‑day depot admin

To succeed in this role, you will…

Skills and abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail – accuracy is everything

  • Confident with basic IT systems (we’ll train you on ours)

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Previous admin or warranty experience is a plus, but not essential

HGV Technician

  • Full time permanent early/late shift position
  • 31 days including Bank Holidays

Are you a Level 3 qualified technician looking for a new opportunity? Do you have previous experience of working with Commercial vehicles, ideally in a workshop environment?

Here at Norfolk Truck and Van we are looking for an experienced technician to join our depot on a full-time permanent basis working on a split shift pattern, working on a diverse range of modern vehicles from Manufacturers such as Renault, Isuzu, MAN and more.

Some of the activities that you will be involved in will include, but may not be limited to:

  • Adhere and comply to Manufacturer repair instructions
  • Follow instructions from the job card / repair order to DVSA standards
  • Accurately report and record work and tests carried out as per the manufacturers standards, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults
  • Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information
  • Maintain allocated work areas, and keep in a clean and tidy condition
  • Enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst following company polices and standard procedures

In order for you to be successful in this role, you will work well as part of a team, be a good communicator, have the ability to take on a variety of different workloads, and have a problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude.

Skills and abilities:

  • HGV Technician Level 3 qualifications or equivalent
  • Excellent diagnostic skills
  • Proven HGV experience
  • Driving licence (HGV Class 1 desirable)
